I started my teaching career at the Merchant Taylors' School in North London (6 years), then moved to the Edinburgh Academy (Head of Geography for 6 years), and spent 19 years as the Head of Faculty at Shrewsbury School, followed by a temporary teaching appointment at Charterhouse School in Surrey.
I provide high quality private tuition and support in Geography. I tutor at all levels, from 11+, 13+ Scholarship, Common Entrance (CE) and KS2 through to GCSE (or IGCSE), A level and University level, to students throughout the world.
I am based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, UK and but I am happy to do face to face or overseas residential placements.
I offer face-to-face and online tutoring, and charge the same for both: £50 per session for GCSE, and £55 for A Level.
My subject Geography is a brilliant area to study - it is an area of the social sciences which focuses on the earth, land, temperature, features and human habitation. It's areas of study encompass everything that it is important to the world right now as overpopulation and global warming take their toll. Never has the study of Geography been more important !
